Identifying Clients and Portfolio Companies
Liknon assesses businesses to determine the ones best positioned to leverage our unique assets. These companies will possess clear opportunities to extend their product or service into new markets. While our experience and extensive network of relationships position us best in the following sectors: Video Games, Mobile Apps, VR/AR, Enterprise Software, and Consumer Products and Services.
Whether it is through personal experience or via developing an intimate understanding of our clients’ and portfolio companies’ markets, opportunities need to be identified, both qualitatively and quantitatively. A prerequisite for moving forward is to know the constraints that inhibit significant growth, including the companies’ financial status and the market receptivity to their offerings. We then assess Liknon’s ability to leverage our experience and network in different scenarios. Qualifying Clients and Portfolio Companies
Liknon regularly tests our network for high level market receptivity of the product and service offerings of potential new clients and portfolio companies. After identifying clients that can benefit from leveraging our relationships and experience, we arrange an initial meeting to gauge the company’s readiness for action, assess the quality of its management team, and measure the business’s financial stability. This meeting is also used to ensure that the chemistry between our two companies will contribute to building a close working relationship.
